Test flying of Swift

At the weekend I worked on my Swift so that it is a more capable flying machine. (is that possible with a swift?). I have replaced the receiver with an AR7000 so I can fly using my new DX7, I added a new S9254 tail servo to compliment my 401 Gyro, and probably the best item I changed was the motor. I now have a Century 600+ on 12T pinion instead of the endurance stock motor.

Yesterday, Ash and I met up so that he could check my set up. After a bit of fine tuning, i.e. the meshing was too tight etc it flew a treat, although Ash thinks I need to change the pinion to 13T which I have now ordered as well as other bits that I dont need! (But it justifies the postage - well thats my story anyway :-))

Hi Sue, what flight times did you get with the old stock motor and what times do you get now ?

I have the H8 motor now and it is better still not good. I get 7 mins per pack.

More bling parts ??? I have a few metal upgtrades but never got to fit them ! One day....
